COMEDIANS VS HOMELESSNESS: NATIONWIDE STAND-UP EVENT

COMEDIANS VS HOMELESSNESS: NATIONWIDE STAND-UP EVENT

In the UK today, one in every 200 households is experiencing homelessness.

Families, children, and neighbours are without the security of a place to call home in the world’s sixth-largest economy. It is a crisis that grows deeper every year, and one we cannot look away from.

On Wednesday, 8 October, as part of World Homeless Day 2025, stages across the UK will host Comedians Vs. Homelessness.

What might look like a comedy night is, in truth, a collective act of resistance. A cultural movement that uses laughter to connect, to unite, and to raise the kind of energy that fuels change.

Across the UK, stages of every size will open their doors, uniting some of the nation’s most loved comedians.

The aim is to raise funds for more than 400,000 people who are currently without safe housing, and to keep the issue in the spotlight where it belongs.

Every ticket makes a tangible difference. It helps provide access to food, shelter, hygiene, and frontline care.

It also supports longer-term solutions, including Comedy-on-Prescription workshops in homeless shelters, delivered by Craic Health in collaboration with Comedy Army as co-ambassadors.

Fiorentini + Baker is proud to be a founding ambassador of Comedians Vs. Homelessness.

Boots may be our craft, but what we stand for has always gone further, and on this stage, we stand with those who need it most.

On 8 October, come for the comedy, stay for the cause, and leave knowing you were part of something that matters.

This is an opportunity to stand together and demonstrate that a home should be a right, not a privilege.
